I typically would not read a book of this length in one sitting, but since they were so into the book they were eager to sit and hear the end! They loved the rhythms. They loved the story line. They loved the pictures. As their teacher I was so interested to hear what they had to say about the story, the lessons, and the characters. I was amazed by how they each connected with a character in some way. Some students found the story to be funny (the names of the pigs) but others felt badly for certain characters and wanted them to ultimately be happy. They wanted the characters to help each other.
